Chris Pratt Shares Why His, Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Kids Have Never Watched Any Movies<\/p>\n

When Chris Pratt<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and Katherine Schwarzenegger<\/strong><\/a>‘s children do <\/em>start watching movies<\/a>, their dad’s body of work should at least keep them busy for a while.<\/p>\n

“There’s gonna be a season, they’re gonna realize their dad is really cool,” Chris quipped on TODAY<\/em>. “They haven’t realized it yet, but one day.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

And once Lyla<\/strong>, 5, Eloise<\/strong>, 3, and Ford<\/strong>, 16 months, have exhausted the kid-friendly shelf of their father’s filmography\u2014getting even more stacked with the release of The <\/em>Super Mario Galaxy Movie<\/em>\u2014then they’ve got their\u00a0grandfather’s movies to discover\u2026eventually.<\/p>\n

“Katherine is very old-school when it comes to screens and technology and all of that stuff,” Chris explained. “So, we’re waiting.”<\/p>\n

But the actor’s 13-year-old son Jack<\/strong>, with ex-wife Anna Faris<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>went with him to Tokyo<\/a> while he was promoting his Super Mario Bros. <\/em>sequel and <\/em>finds his dad’s PG offerings “pretty cool.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Which, in turn, has inspired Chris to make\u00a0<\/em>more quality family fare, because “at the same time as wanting to make movies that would entertain my kids,” he told Men’s Journal<\/em><\/a>, “I\u2019m also thinking about creating movies that are merciful on the parents.”<\/p>\n

In the meantime, he and Katherine are keeping their little ones busy with lots of parks and rec.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
