Thousands of people have taken to the streets in the Indian capital, Delhi, as part of anti-cockroach protests, calling for educational reforms and the resignation of a government minister.

BBC Verify has been analyzing videos from across the capital, showing security officers firing so-called pellet guns at protesters.

The Central Reserve Police did not respond to our questions about the use of pellet guns and the injuries that protesters appeared to suffer.
