If you travel a lot for work or leisure, you know the absolute pain of packing charging bricks. Between your laptop, phone, camera, smart watch, and accessories, your tech bag quickly turns into a tangled disaster of heavy bricks and endless cords.
Mukiya—a brand that focuses on desk organisation and minimalist tech accessories—is aiming to eliminate that clutter with their mission to “Make Space for What Matters.” Enter the Mukiya Universal 360° Cube 4-in-1 Travel Charger.
It’s a compact, clever little device designed to completely transform your travel setup. I took it for a spin to see if it lives up to the hype, and if it can truly earn a permanent spot in my travel gear. You know I travel a lot, so I put it through its paces.
Compact, clever, and creative design
Right out of the box, the first thing you notice is how ridiculously small and lightweight this thing is. Measuring just 53 × 52.5 × 51.5 mm and weighing around 150.5 grams, it condenses a pile of bulky chargers into one neat, pocket-sized cube.

The standout feature here is undoubtedly the 360° rotating block. With a simple twist, you can transform the plug configuration between US, UK, EU, and AU styles. That means no more carrying separate international adapters! The rotating head is also a lifesaver when you’re dealing with crowded power strips, tight corners, or awkward hotel wall sockets where traditional bulky bricks just won’t fit.
Pro tip when you unbox yours: The rotating plug mechanism is a little stiff straight out of the box. Before you head out on your trip, twist it around a few times to loosen it up and make it easier to work with on the go.

If I had one wish for future iterations, it would be to see Mukiya release these in a few different fun colourways. But until then, I’ve solved that by slapping a sticker on mine. When you’re traveling with a crew of techy people, you’ve always got to ID your gear so nobody accidentally walks off with it.
70W GaN performance: What you need to know
Under the hood, the charger utilises GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology, allowing it to pump out up to 70W of power while keeping the physical footprint tiny and thermal management efficient.
It features three ports:
- 2 x USB-C ports (supporting up to 70W single port output)
- 1 x USB-A port
It’s easily capable of running three devices at once, meaning you don’t have to go searching for multiple outlets in airport lounges, hotel rooms, or hot-desking offices.

A quick safety PSA while we’re on the subject of travel charging: avoid plugging your cables directly into public USB wall outlets in airports or hotels. It’s a genuine security risk called “juice jacking”, where you might unintentionally install security bugs or malware on your devices. Always use your own charger plugged into an AC outlet.
Power distribution and managing expectations
While 70W is plenty of power to run a modern laptop, keep in mind that 70W is the total combined maximum output.
If your laptop needs the full 70W to charge from flat, you’ll want to plug it into one of the USB-C ports on its own. If you have three devices plugged in at once, smart power distribution will share that 70W across all three. It’s more than enough to fast-charge your phone and wireless earbuds while keeping your laptop topped up, but don’t expect to charge a completely dead laptop at top speed while running two other high-draw devices simultaneously.
A note on cords: Don’t bottleneck your charger
Here’s an important point to make: your charger is only as fast as the cable you plug into it.
When I first tested the Mukiya cube, I plugged in an older USB cable I had lying around, and my phone estimated a full charge time of nearly three hours. I swapped it out for a high-speed, high-wattage rated cable, and that estimated time instantly dropped to under an hour. Even though the Mukiya charger provides 70W of juice, make sure your cables are actually rated for high-speed power delivery to get the performance you’re paying for.

Worldwide compatibility
With an input voltage rating of 100–240V, the Mukiya 70W GaN charger works seamlessly across different global grid standards. Whether you’re on a long-haul flight overseas or just commuting into the city for the day, it covers all the bases without requiring extra gear.
It takes all those annoying individual chargers you usually carry and condenses them into a single, clean unit that fits easily in the corner of your backpack or carry-on. It was perfect for the office setups, and most hot-desks only give you one or two power outlets. Now I never need to beg for another.
Final verdict
If you’re looking to lighten your bag and declutter your desk setup, the Mukiya Universal 360° Cube 70W GaN Travel Charger is a fantastic addition to your gear stack. It solves real travel headaches—from awkward wall sockets to security risks with public USB ports—and delivers serious power in an ultra-compact form factor.
