Taylor Swift and her representatives have kept details of the wedding, which will reportedly take place on July 4 at Madison Square Garden, under wraps. This has led fans to piece together clues, including who could be on the guest list.

Ed Sheeran and other celebrities are in New York

Fans have seized on sightings of celebrities in New York known to be friends of Swift as evidence that they could attend her wedding.

On Tuesday, Ed Sheeran was spotted at an upscale Italian restaurant, BuonaSera on the Lake, located in Malta, New York. Co-owner Danielle Hartwyk posted on Instagram that Sheeran visited her restaurant with Aaron Dessner, a member of The National and one of Swift’s collaborators.

One commenter said Sheeran might not have wanted her to share the photo, but Hartwyk said he gave her permission to post it once he was gone. “As far as I know, he will not stay in the vicinity,” he added.

Sheeran and Dessner are not the only people whose movements have been revealed by companies posting on social media.

A men’s clothing store in Kansas City, Peter Clothiers, posted a photo of Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, putting on a tuxedo on June 13. Legend had it that he and fellow executives Brett Veach and Rick Burkholder were shopping for custom suits for Swift and Kelce’s wedding.

Other stars spotted in New York ahead of the wedding include Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa and Camila Cabello.

Television presenter Graham Norton was photographed arriving at JFK airport with his husband, Jono McLeod. Swift invited Norton onto her chat show in October and later appeared in her Opalite video.

People are also guessing who won’t be attending. Katy Perry, for example, is on tour in Spain on Saturday and Sunday, which has led her fans to discard her from the guest list.
