The United States has launched strikes against small vessels and Iranian IRGC targets in the country in response to attacks on three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.

A fire was filmed in Bandar Abbas, Iran, after the US Central Command (CentCom) reported it had launched “powerful” strikes.

Iran’s deputy foreign minister called the US strikes a violation of the US-Iran memorandum signed last month and warned that Tehran would “take decisive action.”

Iranian state media said the attacks hit the island of Qeshm, Bandar Abbas and Sirik.
