Yorkshire have signed seamer James Taylor on a three-year deal from Surrey.

The 25-year-old will join the White Rose ahead of the 2027 season, having spent seven years at the Oval.

Taylor, who came through the Derbyshire youth ranks, has taken 41 wickets for Surrey in 19 first-class appearances.

Taylor made his senior debut for Derbyshire against a touring West Indies team in 2017 and joined Surrey in 2020.

He made his Surrey debut against Middlesex in that summer’s Bob Willis Trophy and helped them win the County Championship three seasons in a row between 2022 and 2024.
