Several people were injured at an LGBT event in Berlin, police say, after reports that a vehicle ran into a crowd.

An intense manhunt is currently underway, police said, urging people to avoid the area.

The injured are being treated by emergency services in Tiergarten park, police added.

The annual pride event, Christopher Street Day, has been cancelled.
