d4vdtext messages from Celeste Rivas Hernandez have come to light.

The messages revealed during a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles on July 24 provide a window into what happened between the singer (real name David Anthony Burke) and Rivas Hernández before he allegedly murdered the teenager in April 2025.

Prosecutors said the couple began a sexual relationship in November 2023, when she was 13 and he was 18, and text messages indicated that Rivas Hernández had become pregnant with their child within months, although she eventually had an abortion.

D4vd texted her in January 2024: “Sorry again honey, I never wanted to put you through this,” and she replied: “No, it’s okay, we both can’t handle it,” according to NBC News.

“When will you make it?” he asked, to which she replied: “two days,” he said. Los Angeles Times he reported, citing prosecutors at the hearing.

She then wrote, “Also, my mom always told me to ask this question if I ever found myself in this situation… it’s mine, right?” and she responded: “of course it’s yours David.”
