Netflix almost pulled the streamer’s recent documentary “Michael Jackson: The Verdict” a week before its release for fear of retaliation. Variety has learned. The three-part documentary series re-examines Jackson’s 2005 criminal trial, in which the pop superstar was acquitted of all charges, including child abuse. It finally worked as planned and was released on June
