Washington: US President Donald Trump says the show will go on tonight, no matter how late. It’s unclear how security will handle tens of thousands of people trying to return to the National Mall (after a few drinks, most likely), but it says it will.
“Storms bring luck on any occasion. They also make events a little more exciting!” the president said on Truth Social.
“We’ll wait, I don’t care if it’s 2:00 in the morning or in an hour.
“It seems like it’s going to happen, they always do. I’ll be there no matter what, but the ‘what’ usually turns out to be a good thing. It’s Saturday night, LET’S HAVE FUN, even if we’re out late tonight.
