Yang graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. He made his television debut in the Paramount+ adaptation of the hit video game franchise “Halo,” appearing in the role of Rubén. He then starred in the title role of the ITV series “Holding”, based on the debut novel by Graham Norton and directed by Kathy Burke.
In film, Yang played Aris in Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon” films. The first film, “A Child of Fire,” was released in December 2023, followed by the second film, “The Scargiver,” in April 2024. He followed with a role in the James Flatters war film “Shoulders.” He then appeared in the Lionsgate film “Anniversary” and Corin Hardy’s “Whistle.” He played his first lead role in “Last Days,” which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Vertical for North American rights.
Yang will next be seen in Corrina Faith’s horror film “Unspeakable,” while it was recently announced that she had joined “The Exiles” alongside Sam Worthington and David Duchovny. He will also be seen in “The Uprising” alongside Andrew Garfield and Cosmo Jarvis.
Yang made his stage debut in Nick Hytner’s “The Book of Dust” at London’s Bridge Theatre. He recently returned to the stage in Joel Tan’s “Scenes from a Repatriation” at the Royal Court Theater in London.
