Google India and Sony Pictures Networks India have partnered to bring Google Gemini to the new season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati?” turning the AI ​​chatbot into an interactive knowledge companion for the long-running quiz show. Google India and Sony Pictures Networks India have partnered to bring Google Gemini to the new season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati?” turning the AI ​​chatbot into an interactive knowledge companion for the long-running quiz show.

The collaboration integrates Gemini into Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV, integrating the artificial intelligence tool into the “KBC” experience from contestant registration to general knowledge preparation. The Google Assistant will also be integrated directly into the program content.

In the Gemini app, users can now access a step-by-step guide on “KBC” registration requirements and criteria. Interactive challenges designed to improve general knowledge on a variety of topics will be implemented soon. Registration for the new season is now open.

Nachiket Pantvaidya, Chief Content Officer, Sony Pictures Networks India, said, “Through our collaboration with Google Gemini, we are bringing together the legacy of ‘KBC’ with the power of Google Gemini AI for homes across India.”

“KBC,” the Indian adaptation of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” premiered in 2000 and has aired on Sony Entertainment Television since 2010. It is hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. SonyLIV, SPNI’s streaming platform, will air the show alongside the television broadcast.

Beyond “KBC,” which is in Hindi, the message “Who wants to be a millionaire?” The format has been adapted into several other Indian languages including “Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi” in Tamil, “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu” in Telugu, “Kannadada Kotyadhipati” in Kannada, “Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati” in Marathi, “Ke Hobe Banglar Kotipoti” in Bengali, “Ningalkkum Aakaam Kodeeshwaran” in Malayalam, “Ke Bani Crorepati” in Bhojpuri and “Kus Bani Koshur Crorepati” in Kashmir.
