Prime Video’s adaptation of Chloe Walsh’s “Boys of Tommen” has found Patrick Feely and Pierce O’Neill, with Jamie Schneider and James Craven taking on the roles respectively.

Also joining the cast as parents are Eoin Macken, who will play Teddy Lynch, Róisín Gallagher as Marie Lynch and Amy Huberman as Edel Kavanagh.

“Boys of Tommen” follows a forbidden romance at an Irish private school between star rugby player Johnny Kavanagh, who is about to turn professional, and shy new girl Shannon Lynch.

“Both teenagers hide secrets; Johnny, a potentially career-ending injury, and Shannon, a troubled and violent home life,” the synopsis reads. “Through their secret and highly charged connection, the two teenagers from opposite worlds fight against all odds and find a way to save each other.”

Johnny will be played by Conor Sánchez, while Shannon will be played by Nancy Surridge.

The cast also includes James O’Donoghue as Joey Lynch, Sophie McGibbon as Aoife Molloy, Amelia May as Claire Biggs, John Hewson as Gerard Gibson, Indy Lewis as Lizzie Young, Alex Dunne as Hugh Biggs, Dixie Egerickx as Katie Wilmot, Daisy Jacob as Bella Wilkinson, Jonathan Heed as Cormac Ryan and Cathal Ó Síocháin as Ronan McGarry.

Brendan Canty (“Christy”) directs the Ballylaggin-set series, which is currently in production. Adapted by Poppy Cogan (“A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder”), it is based on the first two novels in Walsh’s best-selling series, “Binding 13” and “Keeping 13.” The casting is carried out by Carla Stronge.

“Boys of Tommen” is a Wiip production in association with Amazon MGM Studios. Metropolitan provides local production services.

Cogan produces alongside Walsh, Paul Lee, Hope Hartman and Sean Flanagan of Wiip, Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, James Seidman and Annika Patton of Temple Hill and Greg Brenman and Deena Butt of Drama Republic. Ingrid Goodwin serves as a producer on the series.

The youth adaptation is the latest in the Prime Video romance, following in the footsteps of “Off Campus” and “Every Year After.”
