A British family holidaying in Bédar described the “terrifying” experience of escaping one of Spain’s deadliest wildfires.
According to Spanish authorities, twelve people in the town, including four Britons, died. Another 23 people remain missing.
Lucinda Curtois, who arrived in Spain with her partner Riyaz Cheytan and their teenage children on Thursday, said they did not “expect to hit a wall of fire.”
