Warwickshire have signed India’s top-order batsman Pratika Rawal for the remainder of the 2026 season.

The 25-year-old averages over 47 in one-day internationals with two hundred and eight half-centuries in 26 innings.

He was part of the India team that won the World Cup in 2025, but missed the final victory over South Africa due to injury.

Rawal made his Test debut in March against Australia in Perth, scoring 63 in India’s second innings.

She was ruled out of India’s recent victory in the historic Lord’s Test against England also due to an injury, which she suffered playing for India A in their second one-day match against England A at Taunton earlier in the month.

Rawal will make his first appearance for Warwickshire when the One-Day Cup resumes on August 19.

The Bears have won five and lost five, one inconclusive, in their 11 pool games so far.

Coach Ali Maiden described Rawal’s signing as “fantastic”, external and “would only strengthen our lineup as we look to end the season on a positive note.”
