Catherine Zeta-Jones‘ highly anticipated thriller series, “Kill Jackie,” has set a premiere date on Prime Video.

The Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures production will release all eight episodes Oct. 2 on the streamer in the U.K., Ireland, Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Canada. The series will air on AMC+ in the U.S. this fall, but has not specified a release date yet.

Based on the acclaimed novel “The Price You Pay” by Nick Harkaway, writing as pseudonym Aidan Truhen, “Kill Jackie” stars Zeta-Jones as a former international drug smuggler turned art dealer whose past comes back to haunt her.

“Just as life starts to feel a little boring, it takes a sudden lethal turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons, a squad of the world’s most terrifying hitmen, have been hired to kill her,” the series’ official synyopsis reads. “Assuming someone from her past is behind it, Jackie unleashes her old instincts and embarks on a wild, dangerous game plan: to take down The Demons one by one before they kill her. However, she soon realizes her own demons are much more terrifying than the ruthless killers on her trail…and her buried secrets lead her closer to home, with surprising consequences.”

Alongside Zeta-Jones, “Kill Jackie” also stars aniel Ings, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Bill Paterson, Ron Perlman, Óscar Jaenada, Hattie Hook, Darci Shaw, Raff Law, Enzo Cilenti, Christine Adams, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Karlis Arnolds Avots, Set Sjöstrand, Tadashi Ito, Sebastian Armesto, Julian Barratt, Gavin Spokes, Jonathan Cake and Bamshad Abedi-Amin.

“Kill Jackie” is co-produced by Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures and co-created by “Gangs of London” creatives Conor Keane and Tom Butterworth alongside Peter Lawson (“John Wick”) and Damon Thomas (“Killing Eve”). Thomas is lead directing with Butterworth writing and showrunning. Keane co-wrote the TV adaptation and is also serving as associate producer. Executive producers include Lawson and Jose Agustin Valdes for Steel Springs Pictures as well as Butterworth, Thomas and Zeta-Jones with Rebecca Dundon, Dante Di Loreto and Jeffrey Levine. Harkaway was an executive consultant on the series.
