Robinson faces multiple charges, including aggravated murder in connection with the shooting. He has not yet entered a plea and his attorneys have objected to much of the video evidence.

Prosecutors in the case are asking for the death penalty.

Kirk’s widow, Erika, who came face to face in court for the first time with her husband’s alleged killer on Monday, was in the courtroom again, the New York Times reported.

Prosecution witness David Hull, lead investigator on the case for the Utah State Bureau of Investigation, toured the courthouse through security footage Tuesday.

The footage shows the man, supposedly Robinson, appeared twice in a parking lot on the day of the murder, Hull testified.

Earlier in the morning he was wearing a maroon shirt and gray or olive shorts; The same man returned just before the murder wearing different clothes and apparently limping, the lead investigator said.

The video then showed the suspect heading to the Losee building on campus and rolling over a railing to the rooftop.

Minutes after the shot rang out, the same man can be seen running across the roof, dropping down with an unknown object in his hands and leaving the campus, Hull testified.

Hull said that in the early hours of 9/11, while a search was underway for Kirk’s killer, an officer near campus had contacted Robinson and noted his license plate.
