Ryan, who retains theatrical rights through First-Names Films, will premiere the film in a national tour of one-night screenings developed in association with Emo Nite, featuring live performances by its soundtrack artists.
“The release reimagines the theatrical experience for ‘Mooch’ audiences: part screening, part concert, part reunion for a generation raised on Warped Tour,” the filmmakers said in a statement. The cast includes Scott Cohen, Katerina Tannenbaum, Geneva Carr, Molly Brown, Ashby Gentry, Will Chase, Louis Cancelmi Olli Haaskivii, Ian Dolley, Natalie Roy and Oscar Williams.
Set to an original emo soundtrack, “Mooch” tells the story of Shane, the oldest caddy at his local golf club, who takes on the job of digging up dirt for the charismatic owner of a New Jersey nightclub.

CSA Announces 2026-27 Board of Directors and Dates, Locations and Schedule for 42nd Annual Artios Awards
The Casting Society announced its newly elected Board of Directors for the 2026-27 term, as well as the date, locations and voting schedule for the 42nd annual Artios Awards.
The Artios Awards will be presented on February 18, 2027, with events taking place in Beverly Hills, New York and London. The awards recognize excellence in casting in film, television, advertising and theatre.
The 2026-27 board of directors includes Destiny Lilly, Elizabeth Berra, Matthew Glasner, Sujotta Pace, Danielle Pretsfelder Demchick, Devon Brady, Jazzy Collins, Wendy Kurtzman, Asjai Lou, Gayle Pillsbury, Rachel Reiss, Erica A. Hart, Felicia Joseph, Tiffany Mak, Becca McCracken and Dustin Presley.
The 2026-27 CSA Global Chapter Board of Governors includes Cassandra Han, Dave Bennett, Sien Josephine Teijssen, Kei Kawamura, Mawuko Kuadzi and Maria Lainas.
Phase 1 submissions for the Artios Awards are open from August 3 to 13, and nominees will be announced on October 7. Phase 2 submissions are open from October 26 to November 1. 5, and the nominees will be announced on December 16.
