But the 41-year-old, who lost almost 300 pounds during his weight loss journey, explained that his behavior is no different with healthy eating.

“If you put a big plate of strawberries in front of me and leave me alone, I will eat the whole plate of strawberries,” he said. “I had to take some strawberries and say, ‘Put the bowl away.’ Or just not eat the strawberry at all.”

As Jelly Roll said, “What I learned is that how you do things is how you do everything.”

“I’m like that with alcohol,” he admitted. “I’ve never done ‘one shot’. I’ve never done ‘one line’ of cocaine. I’ve never smoked ‘one joint’. We either smoke all day, drink all night, or do cocaine.”

“People say, ‘Oh, you can eat one as a cheat meal,'” he added. “I thought, ‘You can eat one as a cheat meal. I can’t.’ Because it could be a five-day food binge for me.”
