After it was announced that Gosling would be playing Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an upcoming standalone film at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25, the actress reacted to the exciting news by sharing a nod to He Place beyond pinesthe 2012 film where she and Gosling met.
In a July 26 Instagram post, Mendes shared a fan-edited clip from the crime drama’s opening scene, which features a tracking shot of a shirtless, tattooed Gosling as motorcycle rider Luke Glanton, donning a vest and jacket as he walks through a carnival crowd, before hopping on his bike.
The editor added the newly published one. ghost rider logo at the top of the footage, writing: “From this introduction, I just thought that Ryan Gosling may be perfect casting for the role of Ghost Rider.”
And Mendes, who shares daughters emerald11, and beloved10-year-old, with Gosling, showed that she agrees with Gosling’s casting and captioned her post: “Love, Roxy.”
