“Shark Tank” returns for season 18 in the fall, and with it comes some new entrepreneurs who smell blood in the water.
The lineup of guest sharks includes Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, as well as the CEO of his company Beast Industries, Jeffrey Housenbold. Writer, director, actress and “The Office” star Mindy Kaling will also join the tank, as will former NFL heavyweight JJ Watt.
Favorite Daughter co-founders Erin Foster and Sara Foster will have the opportunity to invest in startups, as will “Diary of a CEO” host Steven Bartlett, who is also a panelist on “Dragons’ Den,” the British version of “Shark Tank.”
Lifestyle brand guru Kendra Scott (who first appeared on “Shark Tank” in season 12) and Harbinger Sports partner Rashaun Williams (who debuted in season 16) have been promoted from guest sharks to permanent cast members. They join other “Shark Tank” mainstays Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner, Daymond John, Daniel Lubetzky and Kevin O’Leary. Mark Cuban left the show at the end of season 16 in 2025.
“Shark Tank” will return this fall on ABC and Hulu with new episodes releasing Wednesdays. The series, in which entrepreneurs pitch their companies to a panel of billionaire and billionaire investors, is produced by MGM Television, a division of Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Sony Pictures Television. The unscripted show has become one of ABC’s most successful shows since its debut in 2009. Additionally, it earned 27 Emmy nominations and won five awards.
