Actor Perry Yung paid tribute to his late friend on July 12, writing on Instagram: “It’s a very emotional moment for all of us who knew Wai Ching Ho. She passed away peacefully after a stroke two days ago. I had seen her perform many times on stage, ate a lot of dim sum, and she came to see @slantperformancegroup many times. I was even incredibly lucky to have played her husband (@justinchon’s parents) in the movie High Resolution. Wai Ching “He was a kind and compassionate human being, a being whose work as an artist elevated every production to a higher level, and we are better for it, rest in power, dear friend.”
