Protesters in India are celebrating the resignation of the country’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Tens of thousands of youth had demonstrated in Delhi, demanding Pradhan’s resignation following exam leaks and testing irregularities.

Now that Pradhan has resigned, the protests organized by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) have been cancelled.

The CJP is a national movement born of a satirical campaign, rather than an actual party, and has faced heavy police repression.
