Hannah and Drew agreed that they wanted their wedding to be intimate and personal.

“I’m very sentimental,” Hannah said. “Every thing in our house has a story. So I really wanted every thing to mean something.”

Hannah is also passionate about vintage and second-hand decor, so she was hoping to buy as much second-hand decor as possible. That vintage, personalized aesthetic led the couple to a small wedding, as did Hannah’s thoughts on the planning process.

“I love big weddings,” Hannah said. “But I’m Type A to a fault, and I knew it wouldn’t be a fun process for me to throw a big wedding. There’s the seating plan for 300 people, and the invitations, and all that. I knew it would really cost me a lot, so for our own benefit, I thought, ‘I think a smaller wedding could be really nice.'”

They set their wedding date for September 19, 2025 and invited only 33 guests. They hosted a more relaxed party with their friends in March 2026, so they were still able to celebrate with everyone despite keeping their nuptials intimate.

“That was the best thing we could have done,” he said. “To put all the planning and details into it that I wanted to do, I knew a smaller wedding was going to be more of our vibe.”
