The first look at “Kill Block,” the new “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4” game, was released at Fanatics Fest.
The multiplayer battlefield game launches on October 23 and takes place at the West Bridge Advanced Military Training Facility, featuring battlefield reconfigurations before each match.
The tagline reads: “Welcome to West Bridge Advanced Military Training, codenamed Kill Block, an unregistered facility specializing in modular multiplayer battlefields focused on reconfiguring combat layouts. Designed as a live-fire training environment, Kill Block maps are reconfigured between matches, forcing players to re-evaluate lines of sight, routes, and combat spaces.”
“Kill Block” also features expanded gunplay experiences, including 3v3 and 10v10 modes. Most map sections are new, while others are inspired by locations throughout Modern Warfare history. More than 500 configurations are possible.

NEW RELEASES
Mariumittu Games and Annapurna Interactive have released “D-topia,” a new narrative-driven sci-fi adventure that explores the consequences of artificial intelligence that created a utopian society.
Players will play a resident maintenance worker, known as a Facilitator, who is tasked with solving problems within D-topia’s resident facility. An official synopsis of the game reads: “The Facilitator must tackle fun, logic-based puzzles to solve mechanical problems and keep the facility running smoothly, while meeting the many vibrant residents, each with their own unique story and personal struggle. Your decisions matter in ‘D-topia,’ with branching paths and narrative implications based on the player’s choices.”
“‘D-topia’ explores a future that may not be as far away as it seems, with many of its scenarios and ideas inspired by possibilities that could one day become reality,” Marumittu Games founder Hiroco Shiino said in a statement. “In this world known as ‘Paradise,’ we invite you to reflect on what happiness really means, what we struggle with, what we seek, and what it means to keep thinking and taking action for ourselves and others. We hope you enjoy the journey while discovering your own answers along the way.”
The game is now available to purchase on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. Watch the launch trailer below.
GAME UPDATES/DLC
“The Sims 4” brings a host of content improvements for the base game’s next update on July 21.
Laundry room upgrade list includes:
- Autosave and save reminders that will automatically create save points during gameplay. Or, players can choose to remain in control and create manual saves as often as they prefer.
- Memory Boost will arrive on all platforms, with the aim of ensuring smoother gameplay, better frame rates and responsiveness.
- New fixes for the most reported bugs, although the release also notes that “we addressed fewer individual bug fixes than usual” due to our focus on new features.
Additionally, the next Quality of Life update will be available in September and will focus on improving Sims’ autonomy.
