Laura Jackson will return as host of CNN’s global cultural program “Seasons” in four new episodes.
The British entrepreneur and TV host, who joined the show last year for its second installment, will once again explore the changing trends shaping global culture in fashion, travel, food, technology, design and art. Jackson previously hosted an episode focused on the art of slow luxury.
In the first of the new episodes, and across CNN’s digital and social platforms, Jackson will highlight the women who, according to the show, are “redefining the luxury sector.” Interviews will include actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who also serves as creative director of lab-grown diamond brand Astrea, Uruguayan designer Gabriela Hearst, Swarovski Group global creative director Giovanna Engelbert, and interior designer Beata Heuman.
“I’m thrilled to be returning to Seasons and CNN,” Jackson said. “One of the things I love most about this series is the opportunity to discover the people, ideas and places that shape the global conversation. These new episodes give me the opportunity to continue that journey.”
Ryan Smith, CEO of CNN Global Productions, added: “We are thrilled to be working with Laura Jackson again as we continue to bring the stories of global trendsetters to CNN’s audience. Her ability to connect with people and uncover the narrative behind emerging trends has made her an integral part of the series, and we are thrilled to welcome her back.”
The first new episode will air July 4 on CNN International, with more episodes later this year.
