The woman suspected of carrying out a package bomb in Monaco that allegedly injured a sanctioned Ukrainian billionaire and his family has been found dead, Ukraine’s security service (SBU) said.
A cross-border manhunt had been launched for Anastasiia Berezovska, a Ukrainian woman who officials said had fled the wealthy city-state after planting the bomb in the entrance hall of an apartment building on June 29.
The body of the 39-year-old man was found in Ukraine with gunshot wounds to the head, the SBU reported.
Two men, including a current Ukrainian Defense Ministry official, have been detained on suspicion of murder.
