When Mulligan announced the total funds raised, a gasp went through the room before it broke into celebration. “This is more money than we have ever raised before,” she said.
Mumford added, “This money will help us bring support to over one million children in war zones. We are so grateful to the L.A. community.”
Children in Conflict CEO Rob Williams said, “Our work and the children we work with, seem to have captured the hearts of a new community of support in Los Angeles. We are so delighted to have the chance to reach more children than ever before. We will be running more events in Los Angeles next year and would love more people to get involved.”
