The media accreditation period for the launch of NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman space telescope mission is now open.
The Roman telescope is scheduled to launch no earlier than 7:20 a.m. ET on Sunday, August 30, aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Named after NASA’s first female chief astronomer, this observatory will offer a deep, panoramic view of the cosmos, generating never-before-seen images that will revolutionize our understanding of the universe.
Media interested in attending the launch must apply by the following deadlines:
- International media representatives without US citizenship must apply by 11:59 pm on Sunday, July 26.
- US media outlets and US citizens representing international media organizations must apply by 11:59 pm on Thursday, July 30.•
All accreditation applications must be submitted online through the website:
