The United States has launched a series of strikes against Iran in response to attacks on three commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. The US Central Command (Centcom) said it had launched the attack on Wednesday, “to impose high costs for targeting and attacking commercial vessels manned by innocent people in an international waterway.”
